Overview

A watchlist sorted by percentage change is a static snapshot: by the time you notice a stock climbing the list, the move is often old news. Stock Race turns the ranking into a live race. Each stock is a bar, the bars re-order as the chosen measure changes, and every overtake is logged with its time.

You choose what the race measures — momentum over a short lookback, change on the day, a breakout score or a composite — and which universe takes part, such as NIFTY 50, NIFTY 100, F&O stocks or your own watchlist. A leader card and an overtakes feed show who moved and when, and any bar opens straight into its chart.

Intended workflow

  1. Pick a universe and the measure to race on.
  2. Watch the race and the overtakes feed as the session moves.
  3. Open any bar into its chart to inspect the move.
  4. Replay earlier sessions to compare how leadership rotated.

What to keep in mind

  • Rankings describe how instruments are moving on the chosen measure. They are not recommendations, and a leader can lose its position at any time.
  • For NSE/BSE the number of instruments that can race at once depends on the capacity of the data integrations.
  • This page describes a feature in development. It is not available to use yet.
